Bio
Health and Well-Being Explorer and MindBody Enthusiast-in-Chief at The Turnstone
I'm a family guy with four kids, in my late forties, who learned firsthand about adverse childhood experiences and their impact on emotional, mental and physical health.
I've had to overcome severe early childhood traumas including, at age 5, having to intervene in my mother's suicide attempt.
These and other adverse childhood experiences led to an extensive disease history, including allergies, osteochondritis, trichtillomania, asthma, GORD...
I became an immunologist because I believed biomedical science held all the answers for ending suffering from "physical" diseases.
But my 18 years working for the pharmaceutical industry in areas such as oncology, diabetes, heart disease, and neuropsychiatry convinced me that suffering will always persist when we focus on treating the disease at the expense of the "wholeperson"
In 2008, I cured my own acid reflux disease (GORD); in 2014, after 28 years of pulling my hair out, I finally cured my last disease – trichotillomania.
I now enjoy peak health and abundance, and dedicate much of my time helping people like you enjoy the same freedom from emotional, mental and physical suffering.
My personal growth trajectory continues to soar, and every day is packed with abundance, meaning and purpose.
I’m a huge fan of philosophy to explore everyday assumptions which might otherwise contribute to prejudice and suffering.
My blog, The Turnstone, is my main creative outlet which I produce in order to share everything I’ve learned about transforming emotional, mental and physical suffering for self-actualization, finding meaning and purpose, and healing mind, body and soul.
Thank you for taking the time to learn about me. I look forward to our paths crossing again.
