I'm researching Meehan family in Australia, some of my older 'gang' are in USA and probably Ireland, maybe other countries as well. The furthest back I have is Owen MEEHAN born 1792 County Cavan Ireland, married Rose HAND in Ireland. Convict to Australia in 1832, his wife was dead & he had 7 children in Ireland. He paid for some relatives to immigrate to Australia in 1855. My line is from his child Patrick MEEHAN m: Susan/Susannah McMAHON.
