Bio
Mexico unveiled, the people, the struggles, the joys are focal points of my writing (with a bit of baseball and lots of poetry thrown in.) Born in Wyoming, journalist by profession (amid detours in accounting, theater, half-marathons) now contentedly at home in Oaxaca, Mexico. Books include the novels Where Gringos Don't Belong, Running Out the Hurt and Miss Sally, two volumes of poetry A Perfect Throw and Monkey Screams and the nonfiction Hidden Dangers and Why Immigrants Come to America plus memoir The Blood of the Serpent: Mexican Lives.
