Bio
I am the director of the NOLA Wesley Foundation, the United Methodist campus ministry at Tulane and Loyola University in New Orleans, LA. Previously I served as the associate pastor of Burke United Methodist Church in Burke, VA. I got my M.Div. from Duke Divinity School in 2010 and my BA from the University of the Virginia in 2000. My wife Cheryl is a fellow Duke Divinity grad. She and I have two sons: Matthew (8) and Isaiah (5). My blog Mercy Not Sacrifice is hosted at the Patheos religion blogsite at www.patheos.com/blogs/mercynotsacrifice. I also contribute to Huffington Post, Red Letter Christians, Ministry Matters, and several other Christian online publications.
