Bio
I am a freelance journalist and editor based in Bengaluru, India. I report on the issues relating to the environment and socio-economic development.
My writing has appeared in several publications, the latest include BBC Travel and IndiaSpend. Apart from several states in India, I have also reported from France, UK, Croatia, Slovenia, Vietnam and Sri Lanka.
I am a recipient of the International Women’s Media Foundation Grant for reporting women’s issues 2019, the Earth Journalism Network Bay of Bengal Grant 2019, the Earth Journalism Network Asia-Pacific Story Grant 2018, UNESCO-Sahapedia Fellowship 2018, NTICVA UK Visiting Fellowship 2015.
