Bio
Michael S. Uhl is the President of System Smart. He is an ardent advocate for smart, systemic, and sustainable abundance.
His urban love birthed from teaching environmental science and character at NorthBay, bridging People and the Planet. He earned a mechanical engineering degree from Penn State, followed by international relief projects in Uganda and Belize. Mike earned his M.S. at Johns Hopkins in Environmental Planning and Management, focusing on smart growth and the built environment. He authored a paper on energy use in aquaponics and manages several real estate properties in the West River watershed of Connecticut. He is a husband and father.
