Bio
I’m really interested in doing emancipatory work in the world. I like doing and making stuff that has real impact. My mediums vary from film and video, to academic & business writing, to entrepreneurship, consulting, coaching and teaching.
I have a strong theoretical backbone which informs my life and practice. On top of that foundation I am currently co-creating a host of organizations who’s missions are in alignment with my own. When I look around me I see a ton of cognitive surplus, both within my generation and across the age spectrum. For the most part this valuable renewable resource is untapped, and through my work I try to activate, showcase, and redistribute that dormant creative potential.
Ostensibly I am a student in <a href="http://www.presidioedu.org/" rel="nofollow"> Presidio Graduate School</a>’s M.B.A. program in Sustainable Management, where I’ve focused on storytelling and the human aspects of adaptive change. I’m working on a few pieces of writing for formal publication, both in the areas of meta-theoretical applications and quantitative analysis, which will be up for peer review soon.
I’ve worked with organizations of different shapes and sizes in different capacities throughout my short career. Most recently, I have been finding myself in the role of Creative Director, helping to shape not only the look and feel of a company’s image, communications and messaging, but also helping draw out their essential story and (sometimes hidden) value proposition.
