Bio
According to government figures there are 40m people in the UK on Pay as You Earn this represents 63.5% of the populace estimated to be circa 63m. PAYE for anyone that doesn't know is the process by which tax is deducted by an employer at source e.g from an individual's salary before it's paid to them.
Put another way: This means 6.3 out of every 10 people in the UK work for somebody else. These are the great working populace who pay the tax that's requested of them, in privately or investor run companiesand answer to a boss. These are the peopled to whom this blog, should bear some relevance. I refer to these as being the 'big inside-out', The employed majority who are swept up in corporate life, who are a large proportion of the UK's workforce but who spend a lot of time working towards decisions that are made outside of their sphere of control.
Does this sound familiar? I am myself an Inside-Outer. I work for a large financial organisation (cue pantomime booing) as a middle manager, working for a boss, who has a boss, who has a boss, who has a boss. I am Mister PAYE.
