MITCH NGAMAN*
aka OKI MARTINS - I'm a media all-rounder who has excelled in radio and television as an on-air personality and in print journalism as a reporter and editor notably in Nigeria and the Ivory-Coast where I co-founded and edited the Abidjan Times.
The Times was one of the earliest independent publications in the then one-party State of late President Felix Houphouet-Boigny.
Divorced, I live in the United Kingdom and although my bread and butter now come from working in the field of Facilities Management I remain a journalist to the core, hence my passion for blogging. I'm also a celebrity publicist with one of Nollywood's and Africa's leading actors Jim Iyke as my client.
THE AFRICAN EYE and THE WORLD STREET JOURNAL were born out of the demise by choice of my previous blogs UNTAMED NEWS and the AFRICAN CELEBRITY SPY which were hosted on the BLOGGER platform.
The contents of THE AFRICAN EYE and THE WORLD STREET JOURNAL are widely sourced and authors duly acknowledged whenever possible. Contributions from individual journalists and bloggers are welcome and by the same token I'll be happy to rectify or remove any offensive or copyrighted material.
