Bio
y name is Jenifer Shull and I am a married mom of a 2.5 year old boy named Brandon.
Before beginning a full time career I worked in various childcare settings; such as nursery programs, camps, individual child care and as a tutor . I graduated from The University Of North Carolina at Charlotte in 03 with a degree in Elementary Education and a concentration in Social Studies. I have since taught 3rd and 4th grades at a TITLE 1 school and an after school enrichment program for at-risk kindergarteners. I enjoy working with different age groups since they each offer something different and equally delightful. My older kids enjoyed learning together in groups and exploring new concepts in a hands on way. My younger students are so special. It is such an important time in there development to instill a life long love of learning. They love to explore and ask tons of questions.
I have also had experience working with children with special needs; ranging from ADHD to Aspergers. It is so rewarding to find different teaching techniques and approaches to help ALL children learn each and everyday!
My stress relief is crafting. I love to sit watch tv and create something with my hands. I love a good magazine, cup of coffee and an awesome workout.
