Bio

Technology fascinates me and I love empowering/supporting people. Having completed my MSc in HCI I developed a great passion and strive for creativity to enhance usability/accessibility of Web Applications/Social Media. My goal is to enable people to fulfill their personal and professional objectives through effective use of Social Media & Technology. I teach our students and graduates that the world of opportunities is just one click away! A small video of me was produced by Higher Education Reward project for school/colleges/Universities to inspire more girls into Technology! I have 7 years of experience in HE sector and IT from being a Student Engagement Officer to IT Project Manager at Leeds Beckett University! In student support roles I achieved 100% on survey results for customer service excellence! I strongly believe in social causes, reaching out to those who really need it which led me to become an active charity worker and community campaigner. I set up my own Charity "Moonlight Trust" alongside my job, designed and delivered Intentional Humanitarian Relief Projects in Turkey, Greece, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Palestine and Israel. From managing boat rescue missions at the Greek Island of Lesvos for Syrian refugees to working in official and unofficial refugee camps I did it all with my own hands! This contribution was recognised at the highest level from local communities to members of Parliament House and mainstream media (BBC)! So I was asked to join the board for White Ribbon Uk and Path Yorkshire. I like to take challenges so I got involved in being a peace diplomat and volunteer in most challenging environments like Palestine/Israel. Social Media! How can I help?
