Bio
John Douglas has been running the La Hoya Language School with Monica since 2006. He loves languages and speaks French, Spanish, German and Italian. He teaches all ages, from 2 year-olds to adults and says that the best way to teach English is with games, songs and stories, especially for the kids, but often with adults too ;o)
John got his degree in French and Linguistics from the University of London and obtained Qualified Teacher Status from Liverpool John Moores University. He taught English in Paris, Madrid, Conegliano, Italy, Innsbruck, Austria, Magdeburg, Germany and Cork, Ireland before finally settling in Elche, Alicante, Spain.
