Bio
My name is Nichole. I am an individual with many hopes, dreams, fears, and experiences. At the age of seven, my mother left my siblings and I to turn to a life of drugs. I was raised by my grandmother from then on. At the age of twelve she happily adopted my brother and I. Sadly, a month later she passed away of a heart attack. My brother and I were then given to my older sister, who was about twenty years old. To sum it up, I'm very familiar with a life of instability, anxiety, and trauma. However, I have overcome many obstacles life has thrown at me. One being Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and depression. There were too many times in life that I felt I was the only one going through certain thoughts, feelings, and circumstances. Luckily, I have come to the conclusion that I'm not. I want to express and share the knowledge and experiences I have had in life with others so they can get the same glimmer of light I wished I could have had. I did not create this blog to tell the world what sadness I have gone through. Actually, I have created this to share with others my story and things I have overcome. Life can be cruel and unfair. But, it can also be a beautiful thing. I aim to cover many topics in life pertaining to mental health, OCD, depression, and anxiety, love, joy, hope, and so much more!. I am no doctor or therapist. I am just an individual that has a lot of experience with negativity. Unlike many though, I have beat almost every statistic people with my past have been given. I am a wife. I am a sister. I am a friend. I am an employee. I am an artist. I am many things. I am not, however, another statistic. In fact, I AM A BEAUTIFUL MIX OF NUTS!
