Bio
Jesseca got her big break appearing in Seventeen Magazine for a Dickies Brand Ad back in 2003. Since then she has appeared in countless magazines, calendars, commercials, and print ads. Her experience and natural beauty is evident in front of the camera however, Jesseca isn’t just a pretty face. She has also taught runway, photo-posing, makeup application, audition preparation and career coaching for several agencies throughout her career. She is not just a one-trick-pony. Jesseca has been called a chameleon on camera, being able to take on a different look and bring a unique feel to each session. Her portfolio portrays a wide range of images from bikini to fashion and everything in between. “I am constantly working on my craft and try to bring something new to the table every time I shoot.” says Humphrey.
After working as a model and booking agent for several years, Jesseca decided to take her career in a new direction. “I was tired of seeing the ridiculous pressure young girls have on them to be “skinny” and what the industry and media does to these beautiful, impressionable, young women and their self-worth. I decided to make an example of myself and start promoting “strong” or “healthy” instead of “skinny” stated Humphrey. “That’s why I love teaching at WCFC.
I have been blessed to be given the opportunity to add value to people’s lives. Even if I can change one girl’s mind about what is beautiful and show her how to love herself starting with the inside, it would all be worth it. Leading a healthy lifestyle isn’t just about the way you eat and exercise…it starts with the way you think.” With a lot of hard work and dedication, Jesseca is now a Sponsored Athlete for Mindandmuscle.net and a writer for the Blogs on the website. Working alongside trainer and husband, Ben Humphrey, works as a personal trainer and specializes in competition prep. After winning first and overall in her last competition, she plans on going on to finals to earn her pro card. “When you want something bad enough, you stop making excuses and start making changes. Making the person you see in the mirror match the person you see in your mind…one day at a time.”
