Maureen is on a journey of self-discovery. Never thinking for one moment she would find herself in this predicament – divorced and on her own at 58- she has no clear idea of how she got here and where she wants to go. But go she must and go she does. One thing Maureen knows for certain, it is a journey she does not intend to take alone.
Touched by the rich cacophony of wisdom of women who have already trudged this road, who are walking the path at this very moment, or who will someday find themselves at these crossroads is the theme of the tales she weaves through her essays, poetry, short stories and fables. You will find yourself laughing, crying, and nodding your head in agreement because the truth is, women constantly reach out to heal and help one another and our stories are a powerful testament to the strength of the feminine.
