Bio
Matthew A. Gilbert, MBA, is a teacher, researcher, and trainer with more than 25 years of experience consulting, speaking, and writing. A lecturer of marketing at Coastal Carolina University, he teaches advertising, personal selling, and principles of marketing. His research investigates how artificial intelligence, marketing technology, and social media transform learning, communication, and consumer engagement. He also explores marketing strategies in sports and innovation in entrepreneurship education. Beyond his research, he develops training workshops, consults on communication and curriculum, and has delivered three TEDx Talks. He is the author of Kickstarting Your Marketing, a principles of marketing textbook, and has published book chapters examining AI applications in marketing, global sports marketing strategies, and entrepreneurship education.
