Bio
My Name is Kevin Jackson,
I'm a self taught, cartoonist and children's illustrator.
I became an cartoonist after an freak accident in my twenties left me in a wheelchair for a year and gave me a condition called retro-grade amnesia.
Due to a head injury in 1993 I went from being a regular 21 years old, back to being fourteen again. The accedent also robbed me of my mobility.
To combat my resulting tremors, I taught myself to draw as a form of motorskill therapy.
I've been cartooning ever since.
As years went by I began my selling hand drawn sketches and cartoons that were created at my kitchen table.
Since then, I've shifted my focus to working online.
Combining my traditional pencil and ink skills with digital capabilities through my iMac and tablet allowed me to take Muck Out Productions online.
Since then I've worked for clients all around the world.
The services I offer are:
vectored and digital cartoons,
web page mascots,
logo designs,
single panel cartoons and comic strips,
children's book illustration,
cartoon calendars,
t-shirt and novelty designs,
as well as clip art,
line drawings,
and internet meme's.
Since moving my business more exclusively to online contracts the response to my work has proven to be overwhelmingly positive.
All my images come vectored and I take care of all the font and text requirements.
I prefer to work on fixed price projects,
due to the fact I don't like being tied down by hourly constraints.
This allows me to take the time needed to meet and exceed my clients expectations.
My rate are very competitive and depend on the detail involved and the amount of illustrations needed for a project.
I look forward to working with anyone and I take real enjoyment out of exceeding my clients expectations. Thank you for taking the time to read about me and my art.
I look forward to colaborating with you.
Sincerely
Your Friend
Kevin Jackson
