Bio
Mwine Edgar is an experienced policy researcher, writer, and analyst with a particular interest in the areas of security, governance, migrations, and youth participation. His academic background is in Economics but is currently pursuing a master’s degree in governance at Makerere University. Mwine’s decade-long professional experience cuts across government (public) service, local non-government sector and now, in international development cooperation.
Mwine currently works with the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung’s Regional Security Dialogue, as a Projects Officer, implementing security related projects in eight countries of the Horn of Africa and the Great Lakes Region. He is also a recipient and valedictorian of the Huduma Fellowship and the Youth for Policy Migration Fellowship.
