Bio
I am a food lover from India.. Currently living in London with my wonderful husband and my ever-so-energetic 2 year old boy.. Until the time I got married I was used to being on just that one side of the table where you are served wonderfully plated and heavenly delicious food and all you have to do is relish it bite by bite.
But then I got married and my mum was no longer around me who would have planned what we will be eating for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner on any given day well in advance, not forgetting the dabbas (boxes) full of homemade savoury snacks in the kitchen pantry always filled up to the brim for us to get a bite any time we felt a little peckish. Oh how I miss those days!
Yes then I got married and had a household of my own. Having watched my mum all my life I felt a sense of responsibility and so I started planning all the meals for my family like my mother would! Although, at that point it was only two of us – my husband and I which made things a lot easier but it also led me to actually start to ENJOY cooking.
I then started venturing out to the internet more and more for recipes, different cuisines, desserts, etc – to include variety in our meals. And then came along our son which has now brought cooking and planning meals to a new level altogether :)
This is my journey so far. I have tried a numerous different recipes during this time but have never logged them anywhere, not even on a piece of paper – it’s all stored away in my head somewhere :)
So, I guess now is the time to create a little space of my own to log all the recipes I try to create or recreate in my little kitchen with my box of spices.
Not always the recipes will be of my own and whenever that is the case I will give due credit to the person who the recipe belongs to or include a link to the blog / website I found the recipe on!
I will be really glad if any of my recipe makes into anyone of your kitchens.
