Bio
Mad about musicals whether on film or stage, but stage is always better I feel. Sometimes beggars cannot be choosers though, when a show is in a city to which it's difficult to travel and when the costs are prohibitive as well. I've seen most of the top shows but have missed some of the more esoteric. I no longer live near London and as a journey there plus cost of the theatre can be prohibitive, it am inclined to miss out some of the newer shows that I just feel I won't like. I'm of the school that is apt to say "They don't write songs like that anymore", and I'm talking here of Jerry Herman, Rogers & Hart, Sondheim (although he's still writing) and the like. Some of my favourites I have seen many times, Les Miserables, for instance, and Mack & Mabel, some I've seen in the original version and then the revival. Another of my passions is travel and I also have a blog on WP about my journeys throughout Europe and Asia. If I had more time I'd like to have a blog about literature too, another of my loves, but meantime, I hope you will check out this site occasionally and give me some feedback.
