Bio
An admitted foodie and avid recipe researcher/tester, I'm a sucker for anything "Kitchen"! I adore vintage and all things red! Baking bread & biscuits is my passion! And my 10+ year old sourdough starter, “Scarlett”, is my secret success ingredient.
This blog was inspired by my Claret red 4 oven AGA cooker, the icon in our dream log cabin that we built high atop a mountain ridge in the Smoky Mts of Western NC. But now 12 years later we’ve recently sold that log cabin that we birthed and come full circle to find ourselves back down in Louisiana yet again. I could no longer keep hubby away from his beloved hometown of New Orleans. But what better place to enjoy the best food anywhere!!
