Bio
Nada Radenković is an English Language and Literature teacher with 17 years of experience in teaching and education.Featured image
She graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy, Department for the English Language and Literature in 1994. The same year she takes and passes her CPE examination with flying colours. The same year she started her career in teaching and education. In addition to this, she has attended a variety of seminars that have improved her skills and knowledge. The list of the training and seminars is long and versatile in topics from methodics in language teaching, latest editions presentations in the area or linguistics, modern technology in the service of the education. online resources and teachings on literature. Besides those, she has had the opportunity to participate in the evaluation process of the coursebooks WAY UP 1-4, published by the Klett publishing house. Also, during the period 2010-2013 she was the coordinator of the International Project “Connecting Classrooms”, organized by the British Council UK, whose main idea was to connect the teachers and students from 4 different countries: Serbia, UK, Germany, Slovakia,with the purpose of sharing ideas, knowledge and teaching students to develop and grow into global citizens. During 2014, she has introduced into the school, along with the school principal the HMC project, which offers the 1st and 2nd grade students to take the opportunity to spend a school year in the UK.
Alongside her formal education and training, she has invested an equal amount of enthusiasm into her practical work. She has had the opportunity to work in different schools, state, vocational and private language schools, which have offered her an opportunity to dive deeper into the teaching process and problems during the process of teaching different age groups, levels, focus on the students’ needs and focus on developing students language skills, literacy, creativity, thinking and understanding abilities, and thus find the optimal approach to educating new generations.
Recently she has been approved a title of a proof-reader for the Journal of English for Academic and Specific Purposes.
Besides those, she is interested in Arts, Animal welfare, human rights, travelling and much more. Having this in mind she is commited to all-life learning.
