Jim comes from the world of High Technology where he has worked for both startups and multi-billion dollar organizations and created bottom line value wherever he has been. He is the former CTO of Advanced Fibre Communications - the company that supplied the first large scale Fiber To The Home network in the US as Verizon FiOS. His background is in Corporate Planning, Mergers and Acquisitions, Marketing, Sales and Operations. He has held positions as well at large companies like Siemens and startups like Red Condor.
Jim has a passion for Youth Sports and was a certified coach for Baseball, Soccer and Flag Football. He has served as an endowment Board Member for the Masters in Engineering program at Sonoma State University. This program was the first Engineering program North of the Golden Gate Bridge and is a public-private partnership to grow the High Technology in the North Bay.
