Bio
I started reporting for Knight-Ridder Financial News when real-time news was a curiosity and mortgage securities an obscure corner of Wall Street.Those were the days when newspapers ruled. I later ran a real-time financial newsroom (Quick Nikkei News), did the newspaper thing (USA Today), and am now freelancing (Barron's, Fortune.com).
