Hello. Thanks for joining me.
Yours truly, the Modern Pashtun Man, welcomes you to the Modern Pashtun Universe. I know the term is pretentious but I use it anyway to:
a) to distinguish myself & my people from the caricature of the 'Noble Savage of the Wild North-West Frontier' of Orientalist & Indic Historiography, and
b) sound cool. I mean, one has to sell the 'cool' to the millennials. If it's not the cool, no one listens.
c) because it is just too much pressure to be a Noble Savage from a 19th century Imperial Romance novel or the 'Ghayoor Qabaili Mujahid' of Mutaala Pakistan or Nasim Hijazi, gearing up for the battle for Lal Qila in Ghazwa e Hind. One can get hurt. Shit gets real in the Nobel Savage life.
Truth be told, the only Ghazwa the MPM (Modern Pashtun Man) is interested is the Ghazwa e Halwa or Jang e Tikka. The MPM will conquer all lands for good halwa or Tikka.
