Bio
Maybe it is because I am a Libra, symbolized by the scales, that I am constantly seeking to strike balance in my life. Then again, maybe this search is just the result of my being another ambitious worker bee in this demanding world. Regardless of the rhyme or reason behind it, I see my life as a constant Balancing Act.
I graduated from Bradley University in 2011, with a BA in Public Relations and minor in Business Management. Degree in hand, I moved down to Houston as a 6th grade English teacher through Teach For America. As my two year classroom commitment draws to a close, I am gearing up to move back home to Chicago.
My next adventures are taking me to Spain in the Fall, as an English Teaching Assistant through Fulbright! After that, I 179519_10151064055756187_594892278_nhope to finally break into the world of professional communications with a PR firm.
