Bio
I have been living and working in Antwerp since 2006. I teach English as a second language, and love living in the city. I am always on the look out for interesting things to do with friends and family, in the city. Although I am familiar with most of the places that tourists encounter, I want to write about the places and events that locals are heading to; community events, budget-friendly places -all of those features that make Antwerp the accessible, friendly and 'live-able' city we enjoy each day. Through doing so, I hope to enable visitors to have a more authentic experience, and to help international people who are coming to live in Antwerp to establish themselves here, as residents and citizens who are part of city life.
