Bio
Here's a little about me: I'm into morose indie pop music from the '80s and '90s, pop culture, film, feminism, friends, family, food, careers & life choices, dancing, sleeping, reading, writing... boys with glasses, guitars, samplers and too many Stereolab cds.
I work as a middle school counselor, rousting boys out of the girls' bathroom, giving students detention for swearing, academic counseling for students who don't like to read, attending a multitude of staff meetings... and every once in a while, seeing a difference, a small difference, in a student's demeanor, academic performance, or just having them say hello to you in the hallway. Occasionally, just occasionally, makes it all worthwhile.
