Bio
A 20-something Christian woman with more than a little bit to say about her life in the faith and the process of being in the world but not of it. I largely feel my writing on this blog is spirit-driven--largely because if I'm not compelled by the spirit, I will not write. I don't write for the purpose of being seen, don't care if my traffic soars and you can be a lurker here for years--no pressure because fame and fortune is not my aim. My goal as the Loudmouth Protestant, is to write something that will challenge and edify people.
My life outside of these cyber walls is about me as a struggling artist. Ok, I'm not struggling, but I'm a journalist by vocation and if you know a little bit about journalists you know we are not exactly balling. But I love what I do. Writing is my passion, editing comes after that. Both came to me organically through an awesome move of God and now I'm living this life I didn't exactly plan for myself--I was initially thinking I'd be an anchorwoman--but it's all good.
Wanna no more? Read the blog. I hold no punches and mince no words--about myself or anyone else. I am transparent--maybe to a fault--but it's how I feel most comfortable. I came into this world naked, so I may as well be comfortable with the symbolic concept of that nakedness being manifested through my writing.
I hope you'll be edified. I hope you'll be challenged. I even hope you'll challenge me, after all, loudmouths love a great debate. :)r
