Bio
Nana-Adwoa Ofori grew up in Amherst, Massachusetts. Her name (pronounced Nah-Nah-Jew-Ah) hails from Ghana, West Africa. Ghana is the birthplace of her Mother, Father and the Ghana Black Stars Football team!
She holds a B.A from Smith College in addition to studying fashion at Parsons School of Design. She has designed women-wear for Polo Ralph Lauren, Banana Republic, and Gap.
She has her own style column on Examiner, in addition to being a a regular contributor to Learn Vest, PopEater, Black Voices, AOL Radio Blog, Spinner, and Rock the Disco, to name a few. She also hosts a weekly radio show on Blog Talk Radio, Nightly Candy Chat.
Nightly Candy with Nana-Adwoa is a forum for me to unleash the dragon within during the late night hours. This is when my mind works the best! I get to talk about the things that get me riled up, and the things, and mostly people that piss me off. It's the tasty, sweet, delicious rants and raves that everyone wants before bedtime!
Who cares about cavities!
Just get fake teeth in a couple of years, and take in these sweet written treats!
