Bio
I was curious, lonely and introspective from the getgo. My journey includes incest, adult child of an alcoholic, matriculation to 11 schools in 12 years plus two universities; abodes in virginia, north carolina, chevy chase, south carolina, florida, atlanta and
ohio; studies in journalism, archaeology, then stepping into psychology, where I remained until retirement. Thirteen years marriage, three children, then a handicapped child and divorce. Mental health center psychologist, then prison supervising psychologist and treater of incarcerated sex offenders. Writer of newsletters (children's nursery, high school columns, local Salvation Army newsletter columnist, columnist on weekly newspaper, columnist on college newspaper, christened Episcopalian, then Unitarian, Quaker, atheist, agnostic. Depressed past, now comfortable but never actualized, presumably the result of incest and co-dependent parents. Wrote one good book but failed to do anything at all about marketing it. Giving pdfs away currently. Discomfort with men persists, at 88 today. How many can remember eating mayonnaise sandwiches growing up?
