Bio
Nomalanga Creates is a BBC One MasterChef Quarter Finalist (2016). She has cooked for some the toughest Food Critics and world renowned TV Chefs such as John Torode, Greg Wallace, William Sitwell and Thomasina Miers.
Nomalanga has a BSc Honours degree in Food & Nutrition and has worked with The Food Chain a non-profit organisation that supports people living with HIV/AIDS in the UK through nutritional intervention.
She is deeply passionate about transforming people’s quality of life through food and continues to deliver projects and workshops, where she leverages the power of food to empower people to embrace nutrition holistically thus creating a positive impact on their emotional wellbeing, productivity at work, energy levels and mental clarity. In November 2016 Unilever sponsored Nomalanga to take part at the Food Matters Live London ExCEL, where experts in the Food, Health and Nutrition sector meet to address issues related to Food, Nutrition and the nation’s health.
Nomalanga is now the Founder and Director of Nomalanga Creations, a Social Enterprise with a mission to empower young people to develop healthy relationships with food by giving young people the lifelong tools they need to make healthy eating a sustainable lifestyle.
