Bio
I can't wait to start sharing on this blog (or vlog); expect art, design, lots of DIY, fashion, food and movies.
I was raised in Dubai for the majority of my life, going back and forth to Sweden. Both countries are opposites of each other, with Dubai being all about the glitz & glam and life in Sweden being very simple. This is where I got to learn from the best of both worlds. Living in Dubai is all about the best clothes, furniture, cars, food, accessories, etc. In the Swedish way you know you can have all that, you just have to make it yourself!
As an artist I love to meddle in different things, I have done everything from interior design to being a tattoo artist. Because art comes in different forms and you have to feed your creativity in any way that you can.
I also have a case of A.D.D. which is one of the reasons I was hesitant about starting a blog, because I'm constantly doing random things and have trouble staying focused. I'm always working on different projects at the same time, it makes my life that much for colorful I feel.
In high school I bought a sewing machine and taught my self how to sew. I started making my own outfits, my friends' and that's where it all started. I majored in Psychology, but eventually I went back to the one thing I love most: designing clothes.
I was nominated for Emerging Designer of 2011 for my debut collection of cocktail dresses and 2 years later I was approached by Face1 TV to host a design show in Dubai, which I happily called Designers Den.
I also host various events and regularly work as a stylist for shoots, shows, etc. There's nothing better than to do what you are passionate about!
The show and hopefully this blog will give me a chance to share my journeys and show people that you can create something SPECTACULAR without splurging!
