Bio
My name is Donald Smolik, and I love food! I live in Austin, TX where there is never a shortage of amazing things to do! Cooking is my biggest passion, and I am always trying to learn new recipes, techniques, and general food knowledge. I worked in the restaurant industry for 8 years, and did just about everything you can think of in the business. Food and cooking is major part of my life. Food brings people together, and I think it such a beautiful thing. We eat when we are happy, sad, bored, excited, and every time in between. I love cooking for my friends and family. There is nothing like seeing a smile when someone bites into your food. I come from a large family in a small rural town in Texas. I love my family, they are my biggest fans/supporters!
