Bio
My experience is mainly in Education. I have served for a decade as a Math Instructor at Job Corps ( federally funded program) where I prepared and mentored an underserved student population (16-24 years old) for a government mandated Math competency exam ( TABE: Test for Adult Basic Education).
Most recently I held dual roles at Stanford University as a Math Instructor in a Professional Development program and as a HR Assistant. Within the Professional Development role, I worked in a Program called Stepping Stones to Success ( SSTS) where I led the Math component of the program by devising curriculum and instruction for employees within Residential & Dining Enterprises ( RD&E) so they can earn a GED or entry into an Apprenticeship program. In the HR Assistant role, I contributed to recruiting staff for various roles within RD&E by leading and participating in Job Fairs on Campus, interviewing via phone, and guiding new hires through the onboarding process.
I am currently interested in securing a Learning and Development role.
