Bio
Dr. Jeffrey Uy grew up in Honolulu, HI and graduated from Punahou School. He received his BA in Biology from Johns Hopkins University and his MD from Temple University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in psychiatry at Los Angeles County + University of Southern California Medical Center and served as Chief Resident in his final year. He went on to join the faculty at USC Keck School of Medicine as an Assistant Clinical Professor and received multiple teaching awards during his time there. He is currently employed as a Medical Director with Optum Behavioral Health and is a volunteer member of the Community Faculty Program for the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine. He is a novice tennis player, avid snowboarder, loyal son, grateful brother, obedient husband, proud father, and aspiring author.
