Bio
I started blogging in Sept 2006, having been prompted by the <a href="http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/pm" rel="nofollow">PM blog</a>. It has not been a continuous blog. I ran a basic script blog I had found on the internet until Feb 2009, when I finally got fed up with the limitations of the script and the sheer volume of spam comments that I could not block. Also, the server which hosted it would no longer allow me to log in (although I could still add to the blog...). Unfortunately, due to the spam, the old blog was taken down before I could transfer all the entries (which was a very slow process), and as I could not log on, I could not back up the data...
The content of the blog has slightly changed, in that I record minor events (such as flowering orchids) in more detail than in the past.
One large gap was due to the host of the previous blog taking it down before I had been able to copy all the entries across. Other gaps are when real life just gets too hectic, for reasons that may, or may not, be mentioned at a later date.
