Bio

I'm a retired Geologist. For fun (and very little profit) I transcribe handwritten journals of historic voyages and publish them as eBooks under the series name Unknown Explorers, for example "Unknown Explorers: James White's Journal". I also write apps for iOS. Ship's Time is an app that sounds the hours and half hours with the 8 bell pattern traditional on sailing ships. I spend my winters in Mazatlan, Mexico where I make furniture from guanacastle, a walnut like wood. During the summers, I'm Camp Host at the USFS Sims Flat Campground near Mount Shasta, California.
