Bio
Since I was a young boy I've always liked the idea of growing my own food.
Now I have an allotment, and so the space to really get stuck into growing my food organically - assuming my neighbouring tenants aren't spraying or spreading anything nasty that is - I'm learning how to work the soil without trying to kill every crawling or flying creature that so much as casts a sidelong glance at my crops.
On the plot I'll have the help of my lovely girlfriend when she has time, and of John Seymour, or more accurately his Concise Guide to Self Sufficiency - a very thoughtful and now very useful gift from my girlfriend last Christmas. Or was it my birthday?
I'll be posting my progress as I go beginning with getting the key to the allotments, getting started on working the soil, weeding and the likes, all the way to my first harvest and beyond.
I hope you enjoy following my adventures as much as I expect I'm going to enjoy having them.
