Bio
I’m a born and raised Montrealer and before moving back to my home town about a decade ago, I lived in the United States for thirteen years. Before I returned, I had worked behind the scenes in both public television and radio and earned an MFA in costume history from New York University. I taught fashion history at the Parson’s School of Design as well as the Fashion Institute of Technology, conducted research for a wonderful woman named Grace Mirabella who had served as the editor of American Vogue and I worked on a book about twentieth century fashion. Closer to home I’ve created and taught courses at Concordia University and Lasalle College, served as an image researcher for a McCord Museum of Canadian History exhibition and most recently, served as a writer and editor. I want to keep writing and editing, because – hard as it can be – I love it.
