Bio
I started assisting with costume design and production design simultaneously while a student at the Fashion Institute of Technology. I felt like I had to choose one or the other (unlike some traditions in other places in the world) and chose Costume Design because I've been a lay student of fashion since my teen years.
However, I'm really inspired by this project and may continue with both. We'll have to see.
I love the work of Eiko Ishioka, a fabulously talented, Oscar winning Japanese designer who does both:
