Bio
My name is Crystal and I have two kids that mean the world to me – Taylor (19) who you can find snuggling the cats, and Alex (8) likes to read to the dogs. I also have three dogs – a German Shepard named Roman who is a service dog, Jax who is 9 weeks old and will be training to be a service dog and train in ptotection work as well and Emma Lou who is in retirement now. I rescue, rehabilitate, and train dogs with the Freedom Rescue program, the Refurbished Pets of Southern Michigan, the Jackson County Animal Shelter, and the Cascades Humane Society.
I’ve always had a passion for animals and dog training, and it became clear that it was my calling after I adopted a black lab that was deemed untrainable and we took a couple classes that took him all the way to earning a service dog title. I jumped on board with the training company that I did my training through as an apprentice and became a professional trainer in 2011 and I am lucky to have Hector Hernandez from First Class Dog Training as my mentor.
It amazes me when your family dog is giving you so much grief and is stresses you out so much that you are ready to kick them out, but then you make the call to me and I help you learn how to train your dog and turn it’s behavior around. You need to teach your dog that you are the leader of the pack and be consistent. You don’t speak dog, so let me help teach you how to train your dog!
