Bio
My youngest son is Alex. He was born with many chronic illnesses that would plague him everyday of his life. After my husband died, Alex was in a depression and his health deteriorated quickly. He came to live with me at the end to help him with all of his needs. My life had been filled with doctor's visits, ER visits, procedures, surgeries, and tests after tests. I was with him at the end and loved him for every second.
I founded the Making Change For Children Organization in honor of him. Although I had spent my life in the medical field as an LVN, RN, and a Physician Assistant, finding my way through our healthcare system was never easy. I want to help educate and support the families to advocate for their children and, thereby, giving them a better quality of life.
