Bio
My name is Paula Buckley and I am a Graphic Designer. Growing up in Ireland I have always been surrounded by fascinating culture and different styles of Art and Design. It is because of this that art has always been a passion of mine, from a very young age all I wanted to do was create. It wasn’t until I got older that I concluded that Graphic Design was what I was meant to do. Every time I work a new piece or project, I feel a sense of pride and accomplishment in doing something which I truly enjoy.
I would describe myself as charismatic and an easy to work with individual, with great customer interaction experience. I am passionate about everything I do and quick to learn anything thrown my way. I have excellent written and verbal communication skills and have always carried out my work in a professional and efficient manner.
I am very passionate about design and would really like the opportunity to work with you and your company to ensure you receive the highest quality designs for the best value. I really enjoy how different styles and type can be used to create different messages, in things such as logo and poster design. However, my favourite area of design would have to be a web and app design. I am constantly working on new designs and coming up with interesting ideas for web or mobile applications. In my previous employment, it was part of my job to improve and change their user interface (UI) in order to improve their user’s experience (UX). It is for this reason I am always looking for striving to find the most up to date information on UX/UI design and apply it to my designs. This type of design is aimed at focusing on the user's experience and how to make it easier for the user to navigate the website.
