Bio
Writer, artist, photographer and sundry other things.
I’ve written essays, articles and book reviews for various publications: Victoria Magazine, Birmingham Weekly, Birmingham News, Birmingham Arts Journal, Daily Mountain Eagle, First Draft Magazine, PavoMag.com, and Alabama Writer's Forum. For the private sector, I’ve designed, written, and edited newsletters, marketing brochures, sales letters, press releases, contracts, response to RFP for a major rehab company, legal documents.
I paint and draw on rescued wood, canvas, papers. I love scouring construction sites for wood that is destined for some dumpsite and giving it a chance to live in someone’s home.
I photograph almost anything for my own gratification. These photos find their way onto my Blog, my books (1 published, 3 in the wings) my walls and friend’s walls.
I update my Blog somewhat irregularly, but I’m on Facebook a few times a day.
