I am currently a part-time builder who writes.
'Kill All Men' is my first published novel but the highlight of my career must really be a patio I laid last year, which you could literally play snooker on.
Yes literally.
I've had many jobs including heavy metal drummer, whale poo collector (Indian Ocean), professional yachtsman, computer games artist and graphics lecturer – a public sector job that was the inspiration behind my novel, ‘Kill All Men.’
Suddenly finding myself with three children, I am now planning a solo circumnavigation of the world, a trip which I anticipates will take - ooh, several years.
In the meantime if you need a patio laid, call me for a competitive quote, because the writing sure as hell isn't paying the bills.
