Bio
Chef Brian Poe is a seasoned chef- continually pushing himself and his food to the max over the past 15+ years. Originally from a small town in Georgia, Poe made his move and began his serious cooking career during the 1996 Olympic Games held in Atlanta. From there he made his move out west and began to hone his skills at the Pinon Grill, located within the Millennium Scottsdale Resort in Arizona.
In 2003 Poe moved to Boston and presided as the Executive Chef and Director of Food and Beverage for the renowned Season’s Restaurant at the Millennium Bostonian Hotel. It was there that Poe proved that he had what it took to be a premier Boston chef, as his predecessors of Season’s included local icons Jasper White and Lydia Shire.
Poe has received three and four star reviews from DiNora, Zagat, and a handful of local newspapers and magazines for his tantalizing menu at Siro’s, the primer restaurant in Saratoga Springs, NY.
Anyone who knows Poe, knows he loves to travel. Through out the years he has passed through 38 states and 10 countries. He's hit every wine region in North and South America, with the exception of Washington. Poe explores the food scene everywhere he goes, from farms, to production lines, to family barbeques. Poe's most recent trip includes traveling through Chile, Peru, Brazil, Argentina and Bolivia.
In February 2009 Chef Poe partnered with The Rattlesnake to create POE @ Rattlesnake Bar & Grill. The new menu intertwines Mexican cuisine with flavors from the Southwest and South America.
