Bio
Dr. Alice Urbankova graduated in 2000 from University of Palacky, Czech Republic with dual degree doctor of medicine and dentistry. She moved to United States and enrolled to DDS program at Columbia University CDM, where she graduated in 2004 with DDS degree. She entered academic carrier first at Columbia University CDM and then at Stony Brook University SDM. Her main teaching responsibilities and interest is in area of operative dentistry with focus on minimally invasive treatment modalities. She is actively involved in research on skill training in simulation with use of new technologies as well as in area of clinical research on disease prevention and relationship to systemic health. She is a published author and frequently lectures nationally and internationally on these topics.
