Bio
Diane Caracciolo, Ed.D. is an Associate Professor in the College of Education and Health Sciences at Adelphi University, Garden City, NY where she directs the graduate programs in Educational Theatre. Publications include The Swing of the Pendulum: The Urgency of Arts Education for Healing, Learning, and Wholeness, co-edited with Courtney Lee Weida in 2017. She studied with Deirdre Hurst du Prey, who was Michael Chekhov’s assistant and an original member of his theatre company, and in her later years, a teaching artist at Adelphi University’s Children’s Centre for the Creative Arts.
