Bio
Captain Jonathan Lewie is the founder of Pura Vida Charters. He is a 33 year old fishing fanatic who developed a love of fishing at an early age. Jonathan started commercial fishing for striped bass at the age of 6 and has continued to both commercial and recreational fish until this day. Jonathan has caught sailfish and marlin in Costa Rica, landed bonefish in the Carribean, spent many winter trips catching numerous tarpon in the Florida Keys, and even has fly caught steelhead and wild atlantic salmon. Locally, Jonathan specializes in trophy striped bass. His performance has placed him in local fishing tournaments as well as regional tournaments (i.e. Striper Cup, The Fisherman Magazine). His wealth of fishing experience and knowledge will ensure you have the experience of a lifetime aboard Pura Vida Charters.
